ABOUT COUNSELLING & PSYCHOTHERAPY

Many people find that during times of crisis or change in their lives, having a safe space to look at what's happening for them can really help.

My belief is that each person is shaped by all their experiences and so I use a Humanistic & Integrative approach to Counselling and Psychotherapy therapy.
My approach centres on facilitating each person to explore, understand and respond to conscious and unconscious conflicts between feelings, emotions and beliefs which lie behind symptoms and issues that are challenging, while also identifying and expanding on existing supports and resources.
The aim of counselling & psychotherapy is for you to develop insight and new perspectives on the parts of living that are difficult for you, to understand more about your unique way of being in the world and experience more satisfaction and balance in your life.

I offer a safe and respectful space to work through difficult issues that may be holding you back from living the life you want to lead.
Among the issues I work with are anxiety & depression, grief & loss, loneliness & isolation, issues with self, self concept/esteem/confidence, relationship issues, sexual issues & sexuality, emotional regulation & stress, communicative/expressive difficulties, life changes/transitions.
